Terminal Machine Maintenance: Lubrication, Cleaning, and Inspection
Share:
The maintenance of terminal machines is crucial for their service life and helps reduce machine failures and defects during processing. Proper maintenance ensures the long-term stable operation of terminal machines, making it essential knowledge for every user. Today, we will share with you the three key points of terminal machine maintenance.

Daily Maintenance:
1.Due to the high workload of the punching guide rail of the terminal machine, it needs to be lubricated every hour via the oil injection hole on the top of the machine. It is recommended to add 2-3 drops of oil each time, avoiding excessive amounts.
2.To prevent damage to the main reduction bearing caused by insufficient lubrication, it is necessary to apply grease once a week. The specific operation method is as follows: Open the rear cover of the terminal machine → Remove the card spring of the driven pulley → Remove the pulley → Apply grease (evenly spread on the high-speed bearing surface) → Restore to the original state (Note: During the process of removing the pulley, be mindful of the wear and tear of the bearing balls).
3.After daily production is completed, the machine must be cleaned, and 5S practices should be followed to remove dust, oil stains, debris, etc.

Regular Maintenance:
1.After approximately three months of use, inspect the terminal machine for worn parts such as belts that may need replacement, and check whether the springs of various components have become loose and require replacement. Check whether the locking screws of the machine are loose and whether the card springs are deformed. The angles of various components are related to the chain and should not be adjusted arbitrarily!
2.Lubricate all cams and gears at least once a month to ensure sufficient lubrication. When applying grease, be sure to wipe off any previously grease and foreign matter, and pay attention to the oil supply of various sliding components (swing arm shaft, cutter, clamping device, indexing fixture opening and closing components).

Other Maintenance:
1.The metal sliding parts of the terminal machine frequently rub against each other during operation, so it is necessary to lubricate them before starting work.
2.Remember not to use an air gun to blow away debris, as it may enter the sliding parts and other components of the machine, causing malfunctions. After work is completed, it is recommended to use a brush to clean the stripped debris and sweep away debris around the accessories or casing devices.

Insufficient lubrication in terminal machine maintenance is highly risky, as it not only shortens the machine's service life but can also cause damage to components. Therefore, the oil supply task is extremely important and must be taken seriously.
